That's where Winspear jumps 5 years and brings us a somewhat different Maisie, and it might have enough in it to keep you from feeling like you're missing too much. Rebecca M. Would it be worth starting with Maisie here, since she seems to have reinvented herself somewhat?Jemima Petthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17110647375899927233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-52364159500107393.post-83583262555748888882016-10-20T07:52:33.784-07:002016-10-20T07:52:33.784-07:00I think this is the 12th book in the series. They are slightly longer than your typical mass market mystery (at a guess, closer to 100K words than the 80K that is usual), but they aren't tomes :)

Thanks for coming to visit--no matter when :) I usually spend the whole month trying to get to a few of the IWSG posts!Rebecca M. How many books ...Sounds like an interesting series. How many books in the series? What are the lengths of the books? I agree with you, one of the most irritating things when reading something is discovering some dangling thread that has never been returned to and addressed. Unless, of course, it's used in a future adventure. I have used that from time to time, but the dangling thread is usually a throw-away line so people are not expecting much from it.
Thanks for stopping over at my sight for IWSG, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.Jeffrey Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06973104877310669196noreply@blogger.com
