Are you getting notices?

This is kind of a tricky one, since I'm thinking that if the answer is "no" you won't see this--but here goes.

I have heard from at least one reader that she's not getting notifications of my new posts. I think that's through Feedburner. I've signed myself up as a test, but would like to hear from my readers how and if you are getting notices of new posts--something that seems more important than ever, as I'm not blogging as regularly as I once did. Let me know if you get notices, and if you use Feedburner or what.

On another but not unrelated note, I am planning to migrate my blog to a new and better platform. Blogger seems to be less and less well-adapted to all devices (I know this blog doesn't read well on phones, for example, but can't figure out how to fix it). Share your suggestions, or if you know how to bring a Blogger blog into the 21st Century, let me know about that!

Thanks, and happy Monday.

Here are a couple of pictures to prove that the entire country is not covered in winter. I hope it makes those who are cold feel hope, not homicidal envy!

I don't know what sort of tree this one is.

This is my peach tree, promising me yummy fruit come summer.

  1. Well, whatever you did sort of worked! I got a huge email starting with this one, and every other one back to Unmasked. Let’s hope whatever floodgate was holding things back they’ll now trickle through on time.
There are a couple of designs more suited to phones than this one. Try the ‘responsive’ types.

    1. The funny thing is, aside from signing myself up as a test, I didn't do anything. I also got a long list of about the last 20 posts.

  3. I get your posts all the time. I'm still on blogger and haven't had any problems with it, so I'll probably stay with it.

  4. I got it too, Rebecca. I use Wordpress and I find it a good fit for all devices. Another idea for you is Wix. I haven’t used it but the ads look good.

  5. I use Inoreader and haven't had an issue with new posts not showing up in my feed.

  6. Looking at these comments, I'm thinking I might try just changing my Blogger template. If I can get it doing and looking what I want it to, that would be a much easier solution than a whole new platform, which would probably lose followers in the transition.

  7. I moved the Princelings Publications one onto a responsive one - but it only shows some of the headings in the menu... what's that all about???? But it was the least busy one I could find.
