ReplyDeleteBy the way, re your wanting to read a book to figure out its structure and development: I used to teach writing classes, and I made up a list of questions called "Reading as a Writer" for students to follow. To be absolutely honest, I've never been able to do it myself! I get too caught up in the book!

DeleteYeah, I like to tell myself I'm reading with a writer's eye, but it seldom lasts beyond the first few chapters. Or pages, if the author is good enough :)
